G series screen

Hi I'm after some info about screen mirroring,as soon as you go from park to either reverse or drive screen closes and message states TV does not work while driving.
Firstly all I want is Waze on the screen instead of my phone up on windscreen bracket.has anyone over come this it's an Android but would imagine same for🍏

You need to be using android auto rather than screen mirroring.
