The "new" model is the facelift (LC) which has the same output, but a different engine (S68 rather than S63). The sound is even more subdued, but the interior is substantially changed.

The ride is punishing but this is personal taste, so a test drive is needed.

I opted for an X5 M50i with air suspension as I didn't get on with the coil suspension of the M model.

They’re great cars imho. I came from a 640ds. The ride is far more compliant. That’s probably down to the non RFTs.
MPG up to 27 if you’re very sensible, 9 and below if you’re in heavy traffic.
Ultimate pack gets you everything bar the tow bar and powered boot cover. Stereo is excellent.
The car you have highlighted is a nice spec I’d say. Reasonable money but I’m sure they’d discount.
Later model mild hybrid and even heavier. Some people don’t like the new dash layout as much (or the price hike!).
Hope that helps. 👍

Had one for a week as courtesy car, I found overall it felt a bit crashy and the seats were not comfortable, was like going back in time from the XM.

Let us know how you got on/what you thought.
That car has the powered rear load cover - crazily overengineered. It also has the wrong boot liner - hence why it’s all ruffled!

Got her this in the end ! She loves it and I do too tbf! a lot quicker than my old SVR (wouldn't say it sounds as good standard tho )

Needs lowering and some spacers to start, then the exhaust!

Very nice.

I've got an F95 too (pre LCI). I had a look at the LCI and although I much prefer the exterior of the LCI to mine, I didn't really gel with the design decisions in the interior.

My F95 also doesn't make anywhere near as nice a noise as my old F85.

That is really nice! smokinthumbup

I'd absolutely love one myself too, but I've had to settle for the dirty diesel 40d version instead. hehe

I think the overall running costs would overcome me eventually in the X5M, and that was what happened when I had the E53 X5 4.8iS as well sadly.

Enjoy it. driving
