I was traveling down a dual carriageway today at speeds which are borderline on the boundary of a trip to the magistrates, no excuses so I can suck it up if that happens. It was on a long stretch on a bend and I think I slowed down to around 75 mph by the time the camera van came in to view. Funny thing is though, both hatches facing my direction at the back were closed. Does this mean they were likely packing up or getting set up or can their equipment see through fully tinted out glass? Photo below is from the dashcam

Yes you are safe, my son drove past one at speed with the hatches closed no ticket.

That’s reassuring, I’ll nervously await to see if the postie brings me anything for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully not

FWD facing camera on the roof, not configured for normal speed keeping duties, likely doing ANPR duties.

Depends on the van. We have some that can do front and rear.
