Chris Mapey and I have fixed up an informal photographic expedition this Sunday, leaving Woodbridge at 11.00am and venturing up to Snape and Aldeburgh, stopping at a suitable pub for lunch. Weather permitting, it should be a very good opportunity to get some good shots and talk about cameras until we're blue in the face :)

Then we thought - why not invite some others too?

So if you'd like to join us, please mail me for directions :D

I would have loved to join you. However, I need a bit more notice than a couple of days. Got her in doors back tomorrow night for the weekend so better not stray too far from home

That's 3 days! You can bring her too, if she's amenable. If you take your own car you can push off home when she gets grumpy!

No, she lives in Slough so a 2 hour journey back from here coz of the traffic on the M25. Another weekend tho!

Where's East Anglia? Is that the flat bit that will be under the sea soon?

(OK, OK I know, it's the sunny bit with decent pubs and great beer).

It's like the Lake District but without the mountains and lakes. Which is my excuse why I can't take landscapes!

Where is this great "East Anglia" of which you speak?

(John, I'm pleased that you use the scenery excuse for landscapes as well...)

I'd have sooo liked to have joined you on this! It's a bit tricky getting there at such short notice though, and I've got half of Debbie's family staying this weekend.
Couldn't we organise a get together at a race meeting where everyone who wants to can meet up? I'd be more that happy to fly back for a weekend. We could all be very PC, admiring each others equipment

Martin.

I think that assuming all goes well on Sun, we may plan another one (actually that implies planning has taken place for Sunday )with a bit more notice.

Must be mad, but I fancy taking some photos at the seaside during a gale / storms.

(That'll sort the men from the boys - cameras out in the rain, which will break first Nikon vs Canon!!)

Whooooooooooooo there, Ive not got it yet I will have a special price list for PHEAPF members. I am hoping that I can get my PC installed in it as well. If not I will have to use my laptop. just need to find an unprotected wifi connection.

Loads of unsecured WiFi points around here.

Most locals think "WEP" is the thing you use to make a horse go faster....

Has your motorhome got a grill & stove?

You could be the official cheese on toast & soup concession as well...

What sort is it? My brother has one too - he retired at 49 and he and his wife go on their travels around Europe about 3 times a year (6-8 week blocks). What a life, eh?
