I need to repaint the lower grills set into the front and rear bumpers of my 2007 V8 Vantage.
It has the original style bumpers and my question is, do I need to remove the bumpers to get at the mounting bolts for the grills?
Any helpful guidance appreciated!

I've just done exactly this job a couple of days ago, and sent my grills off for powder coating.

The bad news is that, yes, you do indeed need to remove the rear bumper to access the bolts for the rear grills. However the link below details everything you need to do step-by-step, and explains that you just need to disconnect the many fixings on the bumber and slide it back far enough to access the grill bolts (rather than remove it completely):

I haven't tackled the front grill yet, but have had a look. There isn't enough room to remove it in-situ as the oil cooler is in the way.

So I think the front bumper has to come off too, or maybe just loosened enough to pull the lower bit away, but it looks easier than the rear.

Percy, thanks for the confirmation and link. I’ll be giving it a go next week so hopefully all the fixings will cooperate!
