Arima in San Sebastián, secure parking with easy / cheap short bus ride in to old town.

How big is your car?

Sansebay in San Sebastian is a fabulous hotel in an ideal location - not swanky in the slightest - just really nice and friendly. It's staggering distance from the old town, and has great views over the bay. They have an underground car park accessed by a hidden lift. My Maserati Gran Cabrio fits in fine.

I don't know what sort of budget your looking at, but if you are at cheaper end like me, Hotel Monte Ulia is decent no frills hotel with its own carpark in San Sebastian. It's just within walking distance of the centre/old town and on a main bus route.

Arima is modern and has a decent secure car park with lots of big spaces, was full of top end sports cars we we stayed there.

Nice roof top pool. It’s on an episode of travelman.

Atari restaurant (not bar) in old town does mind blowing hot tapas, not expensive, was on James Martin last year. Worth booking.

Is it valet parking only? I’m planning a road trip next summer in my GT3 including San Sebastián and northern Spain and the Sansebay is top of my list for San Seb. If your Masser will fit its a good sign mine will too…

I've always let them park it for me, and I've never had an issue. Not sure if they'll let you park it yourself.

Lasala Plaza, which is just down the road is definitely valet parking only.

I’m sort of coming round to the idea if I’m honest, it means the car is safer from dings and scratches whilst parked which is good for me. Ferris Bueller has a lot to answer for biglaugh

We stayed here when we were in San Sebastián. It’s not the cheapest but it is very nice. I think we stayed for two nights. And it’s got plenty of parking and if you squint you can see our Elises at the front.
