How do !
The original spec blacked chrome on my BM is fading or gone in a few places.
Does anyone know how to 'touch up' the effected areas ?......paint or something ?

Cheers

Where does this fit along the spectrum with, say, piano black?

I'd say it's a sort of satin finish, just very black to match the rest of the car which is standard BM Black. If it helps it's a 56 plate 335i touring.

I see. Satin puts things into context.

The car wouldn't happen to be of the row-your-own variety, would it?

Unlikely at any rate.

How easy would it be to check How Many Left for signs of the E91 with manual transmission ?

(sorry; I'm not quite sure how to find this myself, so I ask biggrin )

Cheeky assist. wink

Been there. Couldn't find the term "manual".

Are we to assume that all vehicles are manual transmission unless noted as "auto"?

Our 04 330d M Sport Coupe has this. I had a quick go with car polish, but it didn’t really do much. I’m going to ( gently ) try some Solvo Auto Sol on it.

I think so, but if it’s black it clearly isn’t chrome.

Unless pink snow is also a thing.. laugh
