nice, but being critical, I find the fence a bit distracting.

It's a nice photo but you might want to go with something with a bit more general appeal than a modded ricer for a business card. You could be putting people off that are a little more 'tradditional' as well as implying that that is your specialist subject matter and inadvertently pushing yourself in to a niche market.

Possibly lose the number plate - I find it distracting.

No problem with the wall but I find the blue of Capture hard to read with two shades of grey behind it. Perhaps if you put a white stroke around it that would help clarity ? You might have to put a similar blue stroke around Quantum to balance it up - could look quite good thinking about it. Can the card accept high resolution print without problems with bleeding though ?

I agree with the comment about the number plate, how about replacing the VHO with the company initials ?

i like it... good "rule of two thirds" working for you, imho - the URL is too close to the borders - work to a text "safe frame", the cutting is not always that accuate on b'cards.

i would loose the number plate completely, photoshop it out. it is indeed distracting.

did you mean to have the phone number showing through on the cars screen? if so make it more prominent, if not loose it (especially if its not yours).

i would also increase the tracking of the lifestyle photography font so that it comes up to the drop of the "p"... otherwsie make it the same width as the "quantum"

personally i think the shade of blue you use in the capture word is wrong, play with it a little. orange and blue do work together but im not sure about that particular one. try variations of HSV rather than RGB.

all IMHO obviously

Dump the fence and re-arrange the type comfortably in the nice white space it leaves. Don't forget a phone number too

And actually, for 'lifestyle photography' there's got to be something sexier than half a head-on shot of a car, no?

...meant to say - as far as the fence goes...

that photo really needs some depth of field so the fence is less distracting, you could try to do this in photoshop, but be careful to keep it real, especially as you are a photographer!

A very good point... "lifestyle" is a very wide birth and the photo is a very focused subject.

It is far too busy. The web address is too near the bottom and may get cut off if the card is trimmed badly. The choice of font will date quickly. The image does not shout 'lifestyle' photography to me. It suggests that you only do car photography. Also, most people want details other than a web address. Makes you look unobtainable, not professional. Need at the very least, tel. no, fax no. and mobile no. Hope that gives you some food for thought. Don't just go with your first design.

Certainly needs a telephone contact number (imho)..

(Somebody may need to contact you who doesn't have access to a computer)

Bloody 'ell! Just spotted a telephone number on the top of the windscreen. You'd need the eyes of a hawk to spot that fella. You won't be getting too many calls from old folk.

let us not forget that business cards have TWO sides...

Two sides is twice the price usually (4 colour). Can bring the cost down if you keep side two as one or two colour. Many printers offer digital printing now which is cheaper but not such high quality. Bad idea I think - two sides - as many businesses keep cards in a presentation wallet. Also, there is so much space on this card that isn't being utilized well.
