Any Evo 8 geniuses? Speed sensor query

Morning all,

My speedo packed up along with the odometer...went to my local main dealer, ordered a new one ( from Japan ££)
Just had it fitted and alls now in kilometres, is there a simple fix or have they given me a non uk spec sensor!?

Would this be the easiest way round it?

Out the Evo game a good while now, but, yes, should be able to convert this back.

I replaced a pile of wheel speed sensors, and never saw this,

Even so, a basic ecu reader should do the job.

Although, Evos are funny, after I'd fixed the loom it took a Mitsubishi dealer to clear the fault.

God, I miss it, every day.

Was the car originally a Jap import? If so, your car should already have the converter somewhere, mine has one. If not, and they've sent you a Jap spec speedo for a UK supplied car, then yes, I think you'll need to buy the part you've suggested.
