Starting yesterday, every time I navigate from one page to another on PH I am presented with:

And I mean *every* time. It’s extremely annoying.

Viewing via Safari on an iPhone FWIW.

Just me?

No, see my thread below. It’s making the site near unusable for me.

iPad, software up to date, everything accepted, logged in and out and back in again.

Mods?

Have you tried clearing cookies for all pistonheads.com sites?

Not the op, but the poster of the link above. Yes. I’ve done everything, and it’s still happening.

In fairness I did fix the problem at my end by clearing cookies (albeit I've cleared them all which means that for the foreseeable each website I visit wants the confirmation again, which is tedious)

Oh I've had this for like 8 months when using my phone, after some fiddling just assumed it was shoddy coding that wasn't happy with any browser/machine it wasn't built on.

Gave up with it and just started using the laptop.

it keeps on cropping up at various points during the year and then goes away - frustrating

A third appeal to the mods.

Tried on 3 apple devices. iPad, phone and my wife’s laptop. All cookies cleared. Multiple browsers tried. Still happening.

It’s weird because I very rarely get this on my iPhone or iPad, both using Chrome on IOS and never on my Windows laptop using Chrome.

Now cured, thanks (although it did mean clearing everything out for every website, so have to sign in again to them all).

No Ben this comes and goes, it’s 100% your side and needs to be solved FAST.
Bring in experts if needed but you are shedding site browsers by not fixing it

We've looked into this more times than we can count, and every time it comes down to third-party tools interfering with cookies. That could be a browser extension like an ad blocker, or a privacy-focused browser like Brave or DuckDuckGo, which block or clear cookies by default.

The banner only shows if there isn't a cookie confirming you've accepted (or declined) tracking. If your setup prevents that cookie being stored, then the site thinks you haven't made a choice and up pops the banner again.

We know it's annoying, but we re legally required under GDPR and ICO guidance to ask for consent unless we can verify that a choice has already been made. If your browser or an extension blocks that check, we have to show the banner again.

Yup, this indeed.
Because it's a PH specific poorly designed/implemented solution to the problem.
