I often consider myself fortunate to have a wife who is equally interested in driving as I am. When flicking around the TV channels she stops at motoring and motorsport programs just as I do. The idea of going out for a blat gets the thumbs up. We both desire to own interesting cars. Etc, etc.

The only down side is arguing about who drives and sharing a car on trackdays is very frustrating.

Oh and when booking to enjoy a Caterham Slalom day it costs me twice as much.

I think you summed up the good and bad points rather nicely there, personally I would prefer my wife (should I acquire one one day) to be not too interesting in cars. Then I can laugh at the stupid stuff she does and have drive days all too myself, and not have the extra weight in the car when going for an early morning fang. As long as she isn't militantly anti car its fine

You're a lucky barsteward. My Mrs isn't bothered about cars at all. She does like a spirited ride though.
She tuts and mutters whenever Top Gear is on, and really rolls her eyes whenever I watch F1.
I do exactly the same to her when she watches Corrie and Eastenders.

My partner is dead into cars and she's not just into new cars and into what colour they are, but more into the kinds of cars I'm into.
The only car we both disagree on really is the VW Corrado....

We are both here too.

Met each other whilst Marshalling at Oulton Park many moon ago.

Claire is more petrolhead than Matthew, but he's learning.

-ish. She'll only drive cars with style and poke. Drives and polishes a 328i Sport M-Techy thing. No head room, no four wheel drive, rides like skateboard and therefore utterly useless in my book.

Seriously though the ex couldnt even drive and thought my car was just something to get her from A to B. Ok I admit my car is nothing special but its special to me as I assume most members cars are special to them.

She did like to watch me race karts even though she didnt like the thought of me getting hurt. Well thats what she told me.

My girlfriend is a petrolhead I suppose. She goes to watch motor racing and, despite being an American, has driven many 'stick-shift' cars. In fact, when I took the piss out of Americans and their autos she nodded and replied, "You can't say you can drive until you've driven a stick-shift!"

Having said the above, she wants to buy a BMW Mini (I refuse to do the capitalisation on principle) which is a good car, but not quite as good as the Tamora I want her to buy!
