Custom transfers/decals for 1:18 die cast models
Discussion
It’s been 35 years since I last built an Tamiya scale model plastic car. These days I have a business making 4WD accessories for the Australian market (www.ausmotion.com)
I recently purchased a couple of die-cast Ranger Raptor models with the idea that I could make some 1:18 accessories for it and apply some custom decals or transfers.
They were a bit of an impulse purchase!
Are custom decals or transfers a thing?
Do model cars still use transfers like they did in the 80s ?
I’d prefer to use a transfer rather than a sticker as I think a sticker would be far too thick and easy for someone to peel off if I give them away as a promotional thing.

I’ve not used them but I found this via google (I looked for “custom waterslide decals Australia”).

There appear to be others as well.

You can print them yourself

Just need a decent enough printer and at that scale won't be an issue with a home issue inkjet, which I have used before.
