Found this pic among some old car stuff lying around. My mates car had developed a bad knock during a highland hoon a few years ago. We’ed been hammering along country roads when banging and clattering noise developed from under car. By good luck we were next to this railway station and the friendly staff allowed us to reverse over platform for a look see. (No trains were due that day so perfect luck) Jumped down on rails and saw the rubber bungee supporting rt hand silencer had detached..simple task to lift silencer and slip bungee back on hook…job done. 20 mins later back on road. Don’t know where the Tuscan is now but we had a great (very fast ) trip in it and even got a bit of a targa top suntan. Good car that.

My favourite Tuscan stories was during a road trip to Gaydon (Supercar Sunday) a few years ago. We had 15 or so TVR's (I was in my Tuscan RR) when one (Tony) of the convoy had an issue with his clutch (also a Tuscan), we stopped at a layby (within 10 mins there was a slow moving queue on the A road) anyway on checking the feed pipe to the slave cylinder had come off hence no clutch. Not being able to fix at the road side the AA were called (when the AA chap arrived he apologised for the delay getting to us but said the queue was caused by other motorists slowing to see the TVR's in the layby) smile .

As two chaps (Tony and his son) were now car less, my Tuscan became a 4 seater (I had 2 in the passenger side ( my son who was around 20 in the seat Tony in the footwell, me driving and Tony's son on the rear parcel shelf under a coat.(at one stage we had a Police car behind us) yikes
I really miss Tony, he passed a week or so ago. One of the good guys.
