Hello, I purchased a Mini Cooper D this week on finance, and upon delivery I got a mechanic to check the car over, he couldn’t find any faults whilst driving and inspecting the car. However, upon putting the car on the diagnostics computer the following intermittent faults appeared:
28DE00 - Exhaust back pressure sensor before turbo charger signal: Dynamics implausible
28EC00 - Exhaust gas pressure sensor upstream of exhaust turbo charger, ambient pressure sensor, signals: Implausible relative to each other during after-run.
290B00 - Air mass system: Measured air mass too low.
24B600 - Exhaust back pressure sensor before turbine, signs: too high (implausible relative to charging pressure and ambient pressure)

I drove the car to put fuel, and when I got back in the car the engine light appeared. The following day the engine light disappeared.
Is anyone able to shed any light please? I’ve never owned a Mini before.

You don't say:

a. Did the fault codes clear?

b. Did they re-appear?

c. Did you get the codes read when the EML came on?

d. If there were any did they clear?

e. If they were there & they cleared have they come back?

At all stages above, if there were codes what were they?

The codes did clear, and the car was put back on the diagnostics a day later when the EML was on. The same codes reappeared. I have included the fault codes in my original post.
