I didn't realise this was on. I missed the Who and it was said at the time that the Stones weren't happy because the Who were so good and the Stones were really not very good.
However, I turned it on just in time time to see Lennon, Clapton, Richards and Mitchell. But what was to come was just mind boggling.
Yoko Ono screaming over the top of the band. The violinist looked embarrassed and on the end so did Clapton.
It was appalling. If you heard that in the street you'd feel sorry for the poor woman

Apologies to the idiot on here who told me I can't criticise people who are richer than me.

Yes, indeed, it was beyond cringeworthy. Talentless, self-centred prostitute who was the sole cause of Lennon's demise. I will never, ever forgive her. My Grandson's middle name is Lennon and it reflects the respect we all have for John.

They used to show this in a shortened version on the bbc years ago. Saw the whole lot and it was a lot of rubbish they would be glad was never shown.

Festival Express and Mad Dogs and Englishmen are the best 'rockumentaries' I've seen.

I though the Stones peformance was excellent, even if (or because) they are off their faces.

Taj Mahal was the winner for me.

As for Yoko, just no.

Bit unfair, she can't sing or paint worth a f*** but please explain how Yoko is responsible for Chapman's eye boggling egomaniacal decision to be famous for killing a Beatle ?

Because she drove a large wedge between John and Paul, separating him from the band and then refused to live anywhere other than New York. If John had returned to the UK (as he wanted) there may have been a different outcome.

Guy was in love, simple. I read one of his biographies many years ago, and he certainly wasn't an easy guy to be around for a long time....
