Ealing Broadway to Battle (Hastings) Friday lunchtime

Driving the above stretch, you can either go through central London or round the M25. I’m not enthusiastic about either! But is one going to be better than the other at about 1400 on Friday?

I’d let the sat nav take the strain and decide on the best route on the day

I live close to Ealing Broadway, and I would choose the M25 route.

You'll have more miles to cover, but you'll be moving quicker that going through central London.

I went M25/A21 in the end. Took close to 3 hours because of a bad crash on the M25 (lorries collided/blaze) and roadworks on the A21
