Indeed. I have an excellent Steve Rider video made in 1990 called "The Greatest Years of Rallying - the 80s". Good stuff, well researched and well presented (by the man himself).

I dont mind Jim, although i do think Steve would be better.

Its Mr Allen who should go. I cant see how they can keep him on. If they listened to what every viewer wanted, he would be out o' there. You dont mind murray mucking it up coz its funny, but when Allen does it it just makes me annoyed. He does it so often as well.

They all missed a big opportunity - Brian Jones ( He of Brands Hatch fame) would do a fantastic job. Right voice, loads of enthusiasm, knows all the drivers ( and everyone else so it seems) since they were in nappies. Shame no-one asked him - perhaps we should start a campaign
