brake caliper shortage?
Discussion
hi i had a sticking brake caliper before I put the car away for the winter, looked at prices for a new one and plenty of choice, friends said just replace the sliders when the weather is warmer, so had a go at the weekend but it seems to be the piston thats tight, ive popped it off and now when i search, very few are advertised for sale, Halfords have right side in stock for £41 and Euro car parts have lefts for £53 but both say 54mm piston and mine measures 60mm , nobody seems to be interested in rebuilding them so just wondering if there's anywhere else to buy them or is it just motaclan now that have them in stock but need a surcharge for exchange, thanks...
Have you tried Brakes International? I've always got parts from them https://brakeparts.co.uk/shop/TVR/Chimaera/93-/Chi...

Are these what you are after? . . . . . . . message me
Calipers for 260mm discs, these have the 60mm pistons.
Motaclan don't appear to even list them, could only see the smaller calipers (with 54mm pistons) for the early cars with 240mm discs?
Racetech TVR were showing stock at around £200 each!
