Police - sense of humour or unprofessional?

This popped up on FB - lots of comments saying how unprofessional the local Constabulary are, others praising the sense of humour.
Having personally been affected by some loons on motorbikes on footpaths I have no sympathy for them.
I’m all for everyone having fun though, just not at the expense of everyone else.

Can’t please all of the people all of the time. One band of people will moan about the OPs featured post showing humour. Others will moan about a “Police state” and officers being too robotic and officious.
Personally, I quite like a bit of humour from the police social media accounts. Shows a human side, gathers a bit of engagement, and like you say, as long as the humour is directed at a law breaking buffoon, it’s all good!

One down, a lot to go.Its an epidemic "Bike Life" innit, from a sketchy old MTB with a motor lashed to it, through to uninsured stolen superbikes.
The scrotes always suggest the Police are being mean "Boys will be boys" and that they should concentre on "Nonces" and that they can stop a kid on a bike, "but not the boats".
Its weird how folk seem to think its a victimless crime, in other words they are engaged in it, or cant see a problem, until that is their shed gets broken into for their bike or some little toerag ploughs their sixty kilo Sur-ron into their car leaving a massive amount of damage or maybe flattens their grandma.
Social media is full of low lifes on these things, doing exactly as they please, often blasting at 50/60 down paths, chewing up football pitches or goading the Police, who they know arent allowed to chase them.
Had a kid overtake me in Cheadle Hulme today in traffic, I was doing 20 and he flew past without pedalling, they have this reliance on reactions above any road sense, the car pulling out a few up from me managed to avoid him and he didnt get a short flight over a bonnet.
Been quite a few deaths and injuries, couple in Wales in the last couple of weeks.
What kind of parent endorses a teenager getting either an electric motorbike or a conversion kit for an old cheap bike with 2000/3000 watts that will do 50 plus mph ?
So, the Police have to put up with being goaded, kids spinning mud from a grass verge all over their cars, but mainly scraping up the ones where it goes wrong, so yeah, let them do a "We got one" post.
I've seen similar on FB and I don't think it's a bad thing to show that they have a sense of humour whilst carrying out their jobs.
I mean I'm all for seeing a dodgy motorist taken off the road, entirely possible this would be the person pulling wheelies and harassing people so good it's off the road.

Good post by the police. Glad that another one of these most like likely stolen and almost certainly uninsured bikes is off the road. I hate seeing good motors being destroyed but I'm sick to death of these, so hopefully it'll be crushed.
