Well after owning a few Porsches over the last 6 or so years we've just got into a nice 720s.
We collected it on Saturday from McLaren Manchester, who were a real pleasure to deal with after dealing with Porsche for those years. They actually acted like they wanted to sell cars!

They brought the car over one Friday so I could have a drive on roads near where we live and roads i often drove our 992 turbo s on and our 991.2 gt3 on ( an hour from the dealership).

We checked it would fit in the garage too as we were concerned with the doors but it was fine.

We returned the following Saturday for the wife to drive it and make sure she was happy with it which she was and said we'd have it.

So far, very impressed.! The visibility is amazing, it handles fantastic with amazing suspension , a leap above all our 911s! A fantastic noise which makes it actually sound like its going some unlike our old 992 turbo s !

Its early days having only had it a few days but so far we are very happy with the car. Lets hope that continues!

Really impressed with McLaren Manchester, nothing was too much trouble , some goodies were sorted for our lad, then answered texts after hours which was a suprise as normally we couldn't even speak to the salesman at Porsche during the daytime ( even after buying over 500ks worth of cars over the last few years!)

Thanks guys!
In a sea of vehicles on the roads with grey, silver, black colours etc its nice to see something bright!

It really pops in the sunlight, let's hope it keeps sunny for the foreseeable!

They are bargains of the century at the moment.

Recently picked mine up and equally as impressed with it and I thought my 570s was quick.

Enjoy 😁

Congratulations, that's a beauty. Makes the Porsche look a bit boring!

Snap!

Identical to mine - had it 4 years now from new and never get bored of taking the cover off and seeing that orange paint underneath. Have consistently had good service from McLaren Birmingham and it's been very reliable.

You'll enjoy it.

Enjoy your new car, I’ve come from Porsche and Lambo ownership, bought my 720 to flip it for quick buck but it’s still here over two years on only because I didn’t want it to go. Nothings gone wrong, I’m always smiling driving it, still feels super fast, it’s an amazing car.

Excellent choice OP. I got a 650S from McL Manchester 9 years ago and they were excellent to deal with then.

Thanks for all the great comments.!

Never had so much attention in a car, people hanging out of windows filming , people waving, people pointing.! I'm a quiet kind of guy so its a big shock biglaugh, might have to get the fronts tinted at this rate.!

Wife has been using it all week as her daily,(well it is her car after all) but I did manage a quick blast the other night and it still feels like a rocket ship, what an amazing bit of kit!
Don't get me wrong the Porsches were all amazing in their own ways but this ticks every single box!

I'll take it into the hills one morning on the Gt3's test track and see how it compares on a proper blast.

Congratulations. That is a beautiful car.

Congratulations also on discovering a sportscar manufacturer with attentive sales teams. I have spent too long being ignored in Porsche main dealer showrooms while the sales team look away.
