I don't think they have much choice.
A new Renault 5 can be had for not too much more than £20k.

It's a much cooler looking car than the 208. No way is anyone paying over £30k for the Pug these days.

So here's a silly question. Does that mean if you took the Mazda to an oval and drove it flat out, worst case you could empty the battery in 20 minutes?
I guess so (ish) - there's a YouTube video where they ran a Leaf around Milbrook flat out and I think it lasted less than 10 mins, and it was only that long as it slowed itself down as the battery ran down.DT1975 said:
Sit in one first - horrible little cars. I'm 6'1" and couldn't get the drivers seat back far enough, it felt very cramped. It looks alright but these things are pretty basic.
Dunno about that but I had one for a few days and I'm the same height and found it perfectly fine in the front.Didn't like the floating 3d like dash graphics and a few too many scratchy plastics but seemed a decent little thing with not a bad turn of speed.
