I have an old dress Accutron that belonged to my grandfather I would like to get repaired to use as a dress watch.

It hasn’t ticked or tocked in quite a while but looking for some well regarded specialists who might be able to help as I appreciate these are a bit fiddly with the tuning fork etc.

Also something on my memory tells me they used an unusual power cell which may or may not be an issue.

Anyone know who the go-to for these is?

Thanks in advance.

Paul at electric-watches.co.uk does good work. A family friend found her late father's Baume & Mercier Tronosonic tucked away in a box in the corner of a barn on her mother's property in a sorry state- I found Paul after digging through some forums and recommended him to my friend. The watch came back fully working and restored quite nicely.

It's a real sentimental attachment job as I've had it since new in 1971
Best of luck with yours!

Thank you Gaston’s Revenge and Mishima, much appreciated!

Coincidentally I fired off an email to the Croydon Service Centre today so hopefully they get back to me soon smile
