The Ducati dealer near the racecourse has been closed for maybe a year, I think it was part of a group that went bust.

When I passed this morning there were some guys loading in crated bikes on a forklift. Apparently they're opening on Saturday. Brave in this economy but at least they're not selling HDs or Indians! Hope it goes well for them.

The other bike dealer was it Skellerns previously? Been closed for 6 months now too. That had been there 40yrs or more.

I used to take my Hondas to Skellerns over 50 years ago.

Wasn't it taken over by the late Completely Motorbikes?

Yes, Skellerns changed to (I think) Completely Motorbikes, I was in there before it closed eyeing up some kevlar jeans. Didn't buy at the time because we were just approaching winter and it's too late now.
