Aston vs Bentley - Caffeine&Machine The Hill
Discussion
Anyone else going along to Caffeine&Machine "The Hill" in Ettington, Warwickshire (near Stratford) tomorrow evening for the "Aston Martin vs Bentley" meet?

The wife and I will be there in the V8V. I'll be interested if any Bentleys turn up - I've seen plenty of Astons at The Hill, but never a Bentley

Just to wrap up this thread, it was a pleasant evening - there were a few Astons; mostly VH Vantages; at least one DB9 and a "new-new" Vantage, in green with green highlights, that was getting a lot of attention

On the Bentley side there was a convertible Continental, a W12 Continental Supersports and what I think was a Mulsanne Speed - that thing was enormous parked next to my V8V.

Then this little beauty turned up and completely stole the show

In case anyone doesn't recognise it, this is the unique Cygnet with the Vantage 'S' engine and transmission (plus appropriately-modified running gear) somehow shoehorned into its little shell by the mad lads at Q

the more I see the new vantage in the wild, the more it is the visual pick of the current range between it, db12, vanq. stunningly gorgeous
Funny isn't it? It's still essentially the same AP car,but that frontal treatment (and of course the interior, boosted lump, DTX and myriad small detail changes) have really turned what some (inc me) a bit unfairly considered something of an ugly duckling into much more of a swan.
