I have not seen a topic about the new record here, so I am adding the link:

Even watching the video makes me feel sick.

I drove across that track about two weeks ago on the way to the industrial estate. I actually entered by the wrong gate but the security fellows were fine and gave me directions. The surface is very broken up now and covered in cones. There is a fair bit of construction traffic using it . There is a huge amount of house building going on and a new road system in .

As I type this , is the video showing the TG track at Dunsfold and if so when was it shot . Or have I got the wrong venue ? It looks absolutely nothing like this now . It's basically gone .

Still not sure i get why they built this car, dont get me wrong i love things that push boundaries. And if it was built just because they could then hats off.
But how is it ever going to make money?
You cant drive it on the road, or in any race series, unless they are going to start one.

That's okay, you're not meant to think anything more about it apart from it being electric therefore you must go and buy an electric vehicle as soon as possible. Electric!!! Omoda E5? Suits you sir!!

Hey, whaddaya still doing here? Get outta here and get buying that electric car - join the revolution!!!

I think the Harris video answers that. There’s a comment he makes about the Ferrari F1 client program, which is about £4m for the car before all the running costs, and he says it’s the same thrill for 1/4 the price of entry.
