Since the car has been decatted, it would fail an MOT test. So why is it marketed by Pistonheads as road legal?

Thanks for raising this and apologies for the slow response. Well spotted - the listing has now been amended to clarify that the original (supplied) catted exhaust would need to be refitted to pass an MOT.

Has the car had a bore scope inspection?

The vehicle hasn’t had a bore scope inspection, but it runs smoothly, doesn’t consume oil and there’s no smoke from the exhaust. The engine oil has been changed regularly with the correct, good quality oil. Additionally I believe the 3.2L is less susceptible to bore scoring than other engines, such as the newer 3.4L. Hope that helps. Thanks, James
