I've been offered a 2007 model with 89k (I beleive it's genuine) as the source is trustworthy.

My concern is the advisories will be a headache. On the last MOT:

Front suspension upper arms have slight play.

"Front all suspension is corroded due to age of vehicle".

What a sweeping statement! What does that mean?!

Can you organise another pre-mot check to get specifics (obv or would be to your cost) or just call or go round to the MOT garage?

Anything in that price bracket is bound to need some work, but it looks like a nice motor so could well be worth the spend.
