Whilst this is nice, its a bit too fat ( 1600kg) for 220ponies I'd say

it'll always require the turbo I'd say

That is probably exactly what I would do if I had the space to keep it. You can just pick a number really and there is a kit/setup of some form to get you there. There are NA-T kits around now that will reliably produce 500+.
