Throttle Pedal Reset V8 Vantage

Hey guys

Is there a procedure for resetting the throttle position sender within the pedal? Eg holding down the pedal for 15secs or something?

I think I might have a faulty potentiometer in mine.

Also upon removing the pedal and opening the side panel, is the potentiometer removable for electronic testing?
