Do it, it’s a gamechanger. The 987.2 DFi engine is far more tolerant of single mass flywheels compared with the M96 & 97 engines.

I’m getting old. I was thinking about Marillion, although it was the weakest album.

My 996 C2 had a single mass flywheel when I bought it from RPM Technik. Very quick to rev, but flywheel chatter at idle did sound rough (people used to ask if my car was sick) and it was quite easy to stall on occassions. For a track or weekend toy I'd might have kept, but as mine was nearly a daily I decied to revert to a dual-mass one.

I had a 993 with a single-mass light flywheel, was fabulous. If stalling is an issue, change your driving style/ technique - not difficult. You'll be rewarded.

Great. Going to put Script for a Jesters Tear on now for a F12 blast.. what an album and good old days of amazing album cover designs. Met Fish backstage at Reading Festival, I’m Scottish but couldn’t understand a word he said. Signed my shirt with a Fish never cleaned it for 3 years, then grew up and became a dipstick wipe off cloth.. agree clutching the weakest album.. and Play..

Problems, Problems...

Seriously though fair play for taking on a job like that (or maybe it's your occupation). Well beyond my capabilities. TG exhaust should sound epic on a 987
