Camping Beauséjour access to the inside of Porsche Curves
Discussion
Excuse the very quick screen snip.
There's a fence along the red line, so you have to go further to get through the little woods and double back on yourself to get to the curves.

There is a footpath to the allotment side of the red line. So depending on where you are camped it might be quicker to go out to the road, head towards the roundabout and you'll see the footpath on your left.

Aha ok that helps thanks. We might be quicker to go via the main gate and back in. Either way it's going to be a lot quicker than getting back from our seats in the dunlop stand after the race. There's a fence along the red line, so you have to go further to get through the little woods and double back on yourself to get to the curves.
Yes I can see it is a long way round if you start from the campsite entrance. If I was choosing a pitch I would be heading for the southern part of the campsite. In which case the relative distances change.
The toilets and showers are heavily used and often have Qs. If you have a paddock you have access to the facilities there which include showers and tend to be clean and quiet. Just pop your wash bag and towel in a small rucksack.

We are in 1st tickets/PH private so no real issues with Q's and I generally shower at night at LM.The toilets and showers are heavily used and often have Qs. You mean the footpath next to the allotments that the ACO decided to man with a single person during the race last year? The lady was doing her best but there was no way she could scan people both in and out faster than they were arriving from each side so think I spent longer trying to get in/out than actually watching (having squelched through the BJ mud going to the old entrance to find it no longer there)!CoolC said:

I assume you can go out the front and along the road and in?There's a fence along the red line, so you have to go further to get through the little woods and double back on yourself to get to the curves.

I’m in the 1st tickets site and it seems like it’s a bit of a toss up between going deep into Beausejour or out the main entrance and back in at the road.

So probably shorter and quicker going out and back in and a lot less cars and dust or mud that way. Path by allotments was easy in and out on most days last year and we only had 30 seconds or so waits for scanning.

Think 1st Tickets is pretty close to exit (directly north to roundabout on screenshot (top bit of yellow line doesn’t look right))

You can see the marker for it on that map. I think the entrance/exit will be on the road immediately next to that marker. You are right. I wonder if that top part of the yellow marker is right. I would have thought it would go through the main entrance for Beausejour which is to right where the roundabout is.

Also there is a fence as you come through the forest on the Porsche Curves side and you need to access through a gate. Can be difficult to negotiate during busy periods so give plenty of time.
