Last week during the late evenings i noticed a young girl hanging around where i work(i dont want to go into detail incase i alert perverts.com),last friday she approached me where i work and asked for a cigarette.

I declined her as i dont smoke but it wasnt long before she was chatting to me and disclosing that she lived with her mother, sisters and brothers(father is dead)and aledgedly suffers abuse from her mother, she also showed me some self abuse scars on her arms and within minutes was bragging about having sex with countless guys of all ages the oldest being 39,this girl told me she is only 15.

I tried in the best way possible to give her a pep talk (in street talk you understand as i didnt want to come across as a typical adult in her eyes),anyway i got me a fare and left her where she was hanging around but made up my mind to find a copper.

After scouring for a copper i found one and sent them in the direction of the young girl, the next day to my surprise the young girl is back in the area and accuses me of being a grass etc,no probs with me as i tell her ime looking out for her as i dont think what she is doing is normal, anyway last night i spot her up where i work again hanging about the food bars and am concerned as to her safety as she is so vulnerable and in view of the latest happenings in this sick country dont want to see any harm done to her,it looks like the police have done there bit but to no avail so surely social services should be involved

Look i know its not my responsibilty but she's only a child :(

Watch out that you do'nt. expose yourself to any allegations she may contrive to e.g. get money out of you.

She sounds desperate + could take advantage of you.

This is one for the authority's to sort out.

Yea ive thought of this and she asked me for money last night which i ignored, the place is covered by cctv and i stay in my car,she talks from the outside and when she comes across i lock all the doors with the central locking.

There has got to be someone in authority out there to take responsiblity for this girl, but where are they?

I do'nt. want to sound negative but without witnesses
she could accuse you of all sorts of discussions about unsavoury issues - do you really want that sort of hassle?

Plus if (god forbid)she became a victim BIB would haul you in for questionning + maybe carry out a search of your house etc. when they viewed the CCTV.

Contact Social Services right now. I once had a similar discussion with a 15yr old girl whilst working as a volunteer school councillor. This girl was trying to keep her boy friend by agreeing to have sex with his mates all of whom, including boy friend, were in their late 20's. It's very sad that children end up believing such behaviour is normal.

My training required me to report instantly any such conversation. This will get the right help for the girl and also positions you safely in case any lies are told about the encounter.

Bad man.

It does rather sound as though the young lady in question is taking early steps into that most ancient of professions though.

Ive just been down to the bank and while i was in town went and saw the nice fluffy people at social services and had an interview with a lady for around half an hour,as far as ime concerned now ive done my bit, knowing there are loads of lurkers on this forum maybe ive alerted someone in the right position to this, also with social services now aware maybe her visits to the area will cease,if not then i will get in touch with the local papers.

Thanks for your concerns about me but i am pretty street wise, she talks to a lot of men in this area and any conversations with me have been carried out in a busy pedestrian area where there are loads of witness's and cameras and as ive said i stay firmly seated in my car with all the doors locked.
