Bmw G30 or G60

Currently have BMW G30 520d M Sport in an individual colour and great spec. I think it still looks really good. But recently thought about a new one as in the G60.
Payments are doable on the elec version due to cheaper finance rates than equivalent petrol one.
Not entirely sure it’s a great move, sat in one today and not sure if it’s due to being apprehensive about moving to electric but I didn’t feel the interior felt as quality. Yes it looks nice with the big screen but the door panels and centre console felt a little cheap and plasticky.
Anyone done similar move and thoughts on does it feel better to drive and reckon it is actually a step up?

I sold my G31 520d 2 years ago and have just got into a G60 530e

• Tech is light years ahead. I had pre-LCI G30 but this is awesome.

• size feels similar

• it drives more or less the same

• feels at least as well built. I wasn’t that impressed with my G31, which constantly felt like something was going to fail, usually electrically. Early days with the new one but it seems fairly solid.

• looks good from all angles apart from straight ahead - the grille is not a looker.

• BMW steering wheels continue to get fatter. This is like holding a leather-clad, circular drainpipe.
