Scrolling through Facebook this morning and noted a post where someone had posted a photo of their Lego Star Wars tattoo. It struck me that they must be (very) big fans to get such a tattoo (and quite a big one) on their upper arm.

Got me wondering, anyone on here got any automotive/car related tattoos? scratchchin

I’ve seen Audi and bmw tattoos in person

I’m sure I’ve seen a PistonHeads tattoo online, but might have imagined that

Not a chance !

I foolishly posted it on another forum and got ridiculed for it , taking a selfie of my chest /belly isn't the easiest thing to do and the pic isn't great .

The likeness to the car is 100% as it was copied from a professional artist drawing of one .

No, but that is going to change. I've recently closed my part-time, successful automotive based business after near 50 years in business. amongst other ways of celebrating this, a tattoo will be done. I have an two ideas, both small, discrete and not on public view . A pattern that will mean nothing to anyone else or the firms name with dates. TBD

I'll be first to post a photo.

I've got one of my mini on my left calf. Had it done to mark the cars 30th birthday and me owning it for 17 years. The image is from when it was in mini magazine.

Surely it would have been easier with a pic on your phone or in your wallet? wink

Barry is a car fanatic, his favourite car, being the ‘Dino’ to show his love of that particular model, Barry had the prancing horse logo and the word ‘Dino’ tattooed on his Johnson.

Fort their honeymoon Barry and Wendy went to the Caribbean, where they found a very secluded nudist cove resplendent with a quaint beach bar.

One afternoon while enjoying happy hour cocktails, Wendy noticed a local couple on the next table, the man sporting a Ferrari logo not dissimilar to Barry’s and the name ‘Fidos’.

Wendy “Excuse me, I can’t help noticing your Ferrari logo, but why the name ‘Fidos’, is it your favourite pet?”

Local “Nah Mam, when Mrs Richardson, gives it a stroke, it has the Ferrari logo and reads ‘Ferrari Dino 246 GTS’ in New Times Roman 22.

There is a lady somewhere in the UK who has a tattoo of an exploded diagram of a GT40 gearbox....
