Selling Car & Valuable Reg. No. - CGT Liability ?
Discussion
I’m thinking of selling a car with a value of c£20,000 with its private registration number worth c£80,000 so asking for £100K.
Would there be CGT to pay? I understand that generally cars are exempt but in this case the number is worth considerably more than the car.
Any help / advice appreciated .

If unable to use Google: CGT is payable.

That seems to cover it, thanks. Looks like I’ll have to pay the CGT.
