Following on from the terrorist attack in Indian Kashmir where 26 Hindu Indians were gunned down by what is believed ( by India ) to be Pakistan backed Muslim terrorists it seems tensions are rising rapidly
India has vowed to track the terrorists to the end of the earth
There have been a number of tit for tat actions by both countries since the attack
The UK has millions of residents from the two countries that aren't averse to bringing tensions on the sub continent onto the streets here in the U.K.

In retaliation, Pakistan closed its airspace for all Indian-owned or Indian-operated airlines, and suspended all trade with India, including to and from any third country.
It's also suspended the Simla ceasefire agreement and said any disruption to water supply would be considered an act of war

That'll make a change then
I mean, there aren't even millions of Pakistani and Indian born people in the UK. 456,000 and 880,000, respectively, for a total of 1,336,000.I think your figures are a bit off
In the 2021 UK Census, 1,927,150 people identified as having Indian heritage, approximately 1.6 million people in the UK identified with the Pakistani ethnic group
And they have never been shy of bringing issues in their homelands onto the streets in the U.K.

Apart from an incident in Leicester a couple of years ago I'm not aware of any indians or Pakistanis "bringing issues from their homelands to the UK2.What issues are you referring to?

But you didn't say people with heritage. You said people from those countries. Even allowing for loose language, it's patently incredible to contend that of 3,527,150 people 'millions... aren't averse to bringing tensions on the sub continent onto the streets here in the U.K.'I think your figures are a bit off

It's a completely nonsensical assertion.

That was serious unrest, over a most serious cause. Cricket. What issues are you referring to?

You make a good point- there have been loads of PAK vs IND matches in the UK, without any issues. So I’m curious as to what Earthdweller is referring to.
India is ruled by a sectarian nationalist who is hellbent on creating civil war, shipping hindus into a muslim majority area, stripping the area's autonomy, generally noising the place up by being an arse. The Pakistani govt may be stupid enough to give him cover for his nonsense by responding.
