Jacking points

Hi all.

I am thinking of getting a portable car lift but as I haven’t picked my car up yet perhaps someone would be kind enough to let me know the distance between the jacking points across the car. I just want to make sure the one I’m looking at will be ok.

What car are you talking about? Which jacking points on it?

It’s a Chimaera and I assume these are jacked on the outrigger corners ?

Only as a last resort. The outrigger tubes are not particularly strong when new, and tend to corrode faster than the rest of the chassis. Better to jack it on the flat bottom of the main chassis tubes with a pad to spread the load.
