Question for the PH directors on here, I need a goodwill business gift ideally a good single malt or scotch probably around £300. Was thinking Johnnie Walker Blue but noticed you can get this average cat’s piss for around £150 and it’s blended so looking for something perhaps a little classier like a good single malt. Any ideas welcome along with the usual p taking deserved for starting such a thread.

Many thanks.

Likes a good single malt, appreciate it’s a minefield but also appreciate the steer.

Macallan possibly a good call.

I was born in the North of Scotland and their most famous distillery is Old Pulteney. Try their 25 year old stuff. Might be £500 though.

TX.

Thing is, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is a good car. As is the Ferrari 296. I'd rather have a 296 and would sell the Cullinan...

Glenfarclas is one of my favourite sherried whiskies, and I say that as someone whose ultimate favourite is probably Lagavulin.

This 25 year old bottle with three tasting glasses and a whisky jug would fit the bill I think.

There's almost no such thing as a bad whisky, other than that blue bottle Beckham was advertising. Though I would say don't get a peated one, it's an acquired taste.
