I'm trying to set up an XBOX for two siblings to use but either with two separate IP addresses or a VPN so that they can both play games that "remember" their characters etc and they don't get accused of cheating or duplicating (or something) in the bizarre world of Discord where they are part of something I have no understanding of.

Apparently as we are with Sky, the router won't work with a VPN. Is this right? (Explain things as if you are talking to a 90 year old who has never even used a calculator).

You don't need anything like a VPN for that, just set up two profiles on the xbox, one for each child.

Then, they sign into their respective profile when playing on it and all their settings/game states etc. are retained.

I do not understand the problem you’re trying to solve. Can you elaborate please?

They are saying they are getting accused of cheating because they play the same games on different profiles, but game admin think its one person duplicating because they have the same IP address. I think....

There must be tons of people out there with this problem. Some answers must be on Google or I would think reach out to Microsoft directly

Sky use MAP-T to share IP addresses across different households, maybe that is part of your issue as well.

What game is it? Trying to ID cheats just from IP is madness
