991.2 T Tuning

Hi guys - I have a nice yellow stock T - but I need moar... The T is lovely but too civilised and not exciting enough - I need more noise, and more acceleration.
Car is my daily - all year round - mainly b roads, to and from work. will do a bit of touring also - going for NC500 next month. Not really looking at tracking it much if at all, just want a 'special' road car to make every day exciting!
So I'm thinking about tuning or changing it.
I had a test drive in the Litchfield T that's for sale at RPM and tbh it wasn't that much better than stock, sounded similar and was lacking the top end rush I'm looking for. I test drove a 992 GTS and that had much better top end power - but too big and I don't like the interior on 992.
So options are - tune my car - GTS or better turbos and supporting mods £5k - £30k depending on how much tuning. can obviously do it a bit at a time (but lose the Porsche warranty)
Swap to a GT4 - similar money to my car - more raw, sounds better, but lose the 911 kudos.
Swap to a 991.2 Turbo S +20-40k faster, 4wd good for winter, still sounds a bit tame
Swap to a 991.2 GT 3 + 50-70k raw, sounds great but expensive and might be wasted on my daily commute.
Keep changing my mind as to what i want to do so just looking for opinions, suggestions, recommendations etc...

Buy a 981 Gt4 get it tuned to circa 450 hp, don’t bother with a 718 you will never get it to sound great and it’s not as raw as a 981 anyway. Bonus is they are pre GPF!
Had a 992.1 Gts for a couple hours a few years and I must say it left me cold, sound wasn’t great either and it lacked in fizz, could have been driving an Audi lol!

year 981 GT4 is an option - was thinking 718 for the 4.0 doesn't sound as good as the 981 but more modern, looks nicer and still sounds better than the turbo 3.0 - cheapest option also I guess.
Need to test drive a 991.2 turbo - I drove a 992 Turbo s at PEC and that was mega but probably too fast and 992 is too big for my commute. The 992 gts 1 drove was 4wd and handling was lovely.
McLaren would be epic but i think maintenance, reliability etc probably makes it a no for now

got a couple of open smooth straights and just looking for that sparkle/thrill/shove as well as more interaction in the slow stuff. The turbo motor is great but coming out of a couple of tuned/exhaust 987 3.4 boxsters the T is just too civilised.if you want something that feels more alive and sounds good, what about a 997 GT3. I used my RS quite a lot for daily duties and it was fine imo (well I would get one with aircon if I bought another one as my dog and I did not enjoy summer driving in it)

I think if i go gt3 i'd try stretch to 991.2 or at least 991.1 - I never loved the 997 shape and having had the 987 boxsters for 8yrs combined I'm bored of that gem interior. Love the look of 991.2 and the interior.

Open top adds something. You can also tune the hell out of a Boxster 2.5T GTS. It won’t have the sound of a 981 GTS though (which can be even more awesome with a lightweight flywheel, shortened final drive, exhaust and map). If you are missing some thrills and interaction and need bonkers power to resolve the issue, it sounds like you need to go vintage 911 with some power mods to make every drive a 'will I die today?' experience that is a lot more memorable

I thought about proposing a 996 or 997 GT2 as a halfway house.

Take a drive of an Audi R8 v10 plus (or regular v10). I have one, as well as a 992 Turbo S Cab, and they are quite different cars. I suspect it will provide what is missing.
Test drove a v10 gen2 coupe (not plus) before I got the T, it wasn't as good as i was hoping, I think a plus spider would probably be awesome but - no good to go touring in and too wide the my daily commute!Take a drive of an Audi R8 v10 plus (or regular v10). I want to stay in something that looks special - has the kudos so I think Porsche is probably the way to go for me. I think coming originally from super bikes I'm missing the visceral rush of a 180bhp 180kg machine. I think it's just Sunday dreaming, window shopping, chit chat. I did think about a GT4RS - think that might be as close to a suoerbike experience for 'sensible' money that there is. Still £130k + though and might be too extreme... If only I had the room, and money for 2 cars and a bike...
