I haven’t been able to buy ‘super’ grade locally for over a week now. The local garages (Esso and Shell) tell me there’s a shortage but my TVR really needs E5.

Is this a national issue?

I noticed there was no Momentum at a Tesco in South Wales yesterday, FWIW.

Filled up with Momentum in Tesco near Folkestone, Kent, no problem and normal pricing.

No issues finding a drinking hole for the V8 (which need filling regularly) in and around SW London/Surrey either.

Fareham Esso had no E5, but Sainsbry's did. I felt a bit dirty, and I was in my 2015 car anyway, but it just feels wrong using E10.
My 1999 Saab *should* be ok with it, but it stinks like it has a fuel leak so I stay away from it. Don't want to upset my 'new' car either...

Yeah our local Tesco was out of 99 middle of last week when I went to fill up the Beemer, and they still had the covers on the pumps yesterday when I filled up my wifes car.

No issues around Herefordshire from what I’ve seen, been flying around in the Caterham all weekend/this week and haven’t had any issues

That explains it then......I went to two different Esso garages today in Hertfordshire looking for Super and both didn't have any. The Petrol Price App on my phone shows a big difference in prices so most likely those that do have any are chargng more.

Annoying that you have to buy the expensive stuff in order to get E5. My old Vespa and Alfa had to use it. E10 not recommended.

In Spain you can get normal E5 as well as Super E5.
