Mitsubishi Colt 3 door towbar - can anything be modified?

I am looking for a towbar for a 2009 Mitsubishi Colt 1.3 CZ2 3dr HATCHBACK, but it seems they only available for the 5 door, even though my 3 door has an official tow rating of 810kg. Mitsubishi apparently listed a towbar in their accessories brochure (MZ314253), but nobody seems to sell these. Even though they are listed, when you contact online sellers there is no stock (even though they list them). I want to fit a tow bar for a small trailer, where I can carry bulky but light items (no more than 100kg or so). Reading online, the 5 door towbar does not seem to fit. Not sure if any tow bar could be easily modified? If so what to look for?
