Low oil warning

Out in the car yesterday and the dash lit up with a "low oil" warning.

I checked the oil level when I got home and it's fine; I had a full service 450 miles ago so didn't think it would be low.

Anyone else seen this, before I end up back at the dealership?

Yep, had similar a couple of times.

Thank your lucky stars. If it were a Porsche (996 I think, but I honestly struggle to tell them apart) if you park it arse down you'll start it in a cloud of blue smoke.

Even on the flat they do that, if left for a few days, even my 997.2 DFI (the ‘better’ engine?) did that.
