I am to computer speak as Trump is to being intelligent, once i get past the plug in,switch on press this, i start to glaze over, My fault i know.
My problem is with by Green Fingers bird box cams
One is about 3-4m up a tree, the other on the wall of the small 9x 7ft brick built workshop beneath it.
The distance to the house is about 16m to a power outlet that has a netgeat ,extender, there is another netgear in the shed itself.
Router to !st netgear is about 3m and is seperated by a PVC D/glazed door of2 half glass panels. This extender is in visual sight of the two boxes through a glass window but has an enormoius Forsythia ,bush about 2m in fornt of it. Recently the link has been dropping and the bird box cam is getting a bit moody on locking back onto the system the system. The info on the phone tells ne it is either connected to the 'direct' sky wifi but once i get the behind the shed it swiitches to the sky-2GEXT, which i assume is the signal from the shed netgear plug in.
That's the symptons

The cure? Is there a wifi extender that would give a good reliable signal over the 16 yds to the bird boxes.

I have no need for etherent, bridges, POe ( whatever that is) as per M3 system, jaut a good extender that picks up a signal and throws in onward for another 20yds

Any thoughts?

I'm going to suggest you give that OP a bit of a proof read.

Just for sanity.

Assuming you have Sky?

They gave us a WiFi extender to boost the signal to the upstairs den. Simple to install and works like a charm.
