Has anyone seen this?

From the same team who brought you Project CARS 1,2
And 3

I read on another forum that a dev has claimed there will be console VR support. I shouldn’t get my hopes up but I’m a sucker for early 2000’s LMP 900’s!

My YouTube was flooded with this yesterday, never watched any of it just yet!

I think ACC is nearing its end life, if this can pull out all the stops it may have a big turnover from there!

I’ve still not invested in a wheel setup until I move house, but this could be the one!

I have high hopes for this but I pray that it’s good with a controller unlike almost every other title.

I'm not familiar with that name - why do you say that?

Long story basically I was involved with the very early days of Project Cars as a beta player, and he was a very nasty piece of work. He was the boss of that team and this one.

Ah I see, that's disappointing. Is he the same Ian Bell that developed the original Elite game with David Braben in the 1980's, do you know?

Ian Bell is an arse, there was a blogger during PCars1 days and he was very vocal against the game and Ian Bell, this carried on for ages until PCars 2 when Ian paid him off basically, and he shifted to slagging off RFactor2 till his blog got shut down down due to conflict of interests as he was by now paid up member of Ian Bells team...

Then there was the GT3 driver who spoke out about PCars2 and Ian Bell had him lose his Merc GT3 contract, Ian Bell and his band of attack dogs online were vile bunch. They went after any critics hard.
Sounds mental over a game, but there it is.

Is this new models stuck into an old engine or something?

'Cos even for alpha code I'm going to have to say the graphics & animations don't look up to much.

Is there some mega new simulation engine in there that makes up for it?

Pcars was basically a heavily reworked Shift 2 a point I pointed out on their forum after buying the BETA, and was quickly banned,

I would steer clear if I were you, unless you like that sort of approach

To the point it also had the same bugs as Shift 2. Still like you say on the official forum it would get you a ban.

From what I can tell, new game engine (from Giants). They were supposed to be using Unreal initially I think - saw some Twitter posts about it last year. If you watch one of their earlier videos from Silverstone, it seems that the physics engine is completely new too. Time will tell though. Still happily playing Le Mans Ultimate at the moment.
