Hi all,

With regards to BMW paint colour, Space Grey (circa 2009) - Does this colour seem to appear or have a lighter grey or broze/brown tint under sunlight or natural light? Under cool/artificial lighting, it seems to appear more grey or a darker tone. Is this normal for this colour option? My previous Arctic Blue E90 appeared difference under varying light. Just wondering if the same with Space Grey.

I've seen a car which is HPI clear but has possibly had a respray in areas. Panels all seem to line up well and body/fixtures underneath are all straight.

Looking forward to the replies smile

Can’t say I’ve noticed this on my space grey E92, although I don’t have a good eye for stuff like this.

Here are the best pics I have of it in natural light. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I guess there is a very slight brown tinge in the first pic. Is that what you’re referring to?

I had a space grey E90. It was grey, a nice grey with some depth, but I do not remember any flecks or real interest in the paint.

I don’t recall that on my wife’s old 125i cab.

It was a nice colour, but it lay the depth of my Sparkling Graphite Grey 335i.

Thanks all. The examples shown have a very slight variation but not by much. Compared to what has been described so far. I'll await more photos and eventually see the car in the flesh to get a better idea.
