Hey everyone,

Having a spot of bother with our kitchen sink where the waste connection has decided it doesn't want to be part of the sink any more and all the rubber seals have perished. Of course it couldn't wait another year when we planned on renewing it all (typical).

I am struggling to find a replacement waste strainer that fits the sink, our sink has a 75mm recess that goes into a 60mm hole. I assume I need a 75mm waste strainer that will fit over the recess and form a seal?

All the ones I can see online are 90mm or much too small.

Just wondering if I am missing something.

What does the old one measure? This one is 70mm.

You also need to check the size of the pipe it connects to matches.

That or refit the old one with a lot of silicone for now.

The top part of the plug is 70mm and fits the sink snug, the underside is 75mm with a washer that brings it to 80mm

The pipe work looks like 1 1/2" standard pipe
