Following the other Verde Ermes M4 thread where only 2 were built in this particular colour, I thought it would be cool to share some images of mine. It’s completely standard apart from a decal on the carbon interior trim. It’s 2020, covered 7,600 miles with what I’d consider to be extremely well spec’d. This is my second M4 and although I fancied the G82 in terms of value for money, I couldn’t justify an extra £15-£18k on the newer model. That saving paid for a garage conversion, new porch and garden remodel. Anyway, here’s some photos. Thanks for reading.

Very nice colour. Not keen on the colour of the wheels though.

Lovely colour & 1000% better than the defauly black or white!

I'm personally not keen on that wheel design so I'd be perusing the Edelweiss or similar websites for a simple design, probably a light satin grey which would really set the green paint off.

Where do you live to get a garage conversion, new porch and garden remodel for 15-18k? 1996??

Garage (£10k), in 2019 it would have been £6-7k (I am told). Porch (£3.5k) and garden landscape for £3k. I did some of the ground work for the garden myself. I also know a few people in various trades and I’m also prepared to muck in, especially with the garden. The porch is a small area but I wanted to extend the size of the hallway. But thanks for the comment dude.

Congratulations, from the previous owner of the other Verde Ermes car!

Are you the second owner of the car as I remember the original owner who bought this one new posted some pics on the M3cutters forum?

I know a little bit of the back story of how this car came to be.

Ah it’d a superb colour. That’s a good question - I’m away at the moment but I “think” I’m the third owner. Any history on the car would be so greatly appreciated. Yours was beautiful. What part of the country is yours now ? Thanks and best wishes, Rick

What I know of your car is that it was built before mine and when I was actually ordering mine, your car was in the build order system and my salesman spotted it when looking through the system.

Fast forward a few months and it appeared at what was Arden BMW Maidstone in their showroom. A year or so later a new customer of mine with an E28 525e was a salesman at Berry BMW Croydon and we got talking and it transpired he had specced and ordered your car for showroom stock.

In the link below, the first owner posted some pics.

My old car now resides in South Wales, I have been in contact with the current owner.
