Hi Guys
looking for a bit of information as I'm currently in the market for an Alpine A110. I've moved my 911 on so I have a space to fill. I'm retired from full time employment (work as a volunteer for a couple of days a week at Haynes Motor Museum
) so the car will only be used for high days and holidays. The car will also be used by my wife for her (very) occasional trip to her office. I've seen one online (planning on going to see it later this week) at Martins of Winchester.
Couple of things that you maybe able to help with,
The last MOT for the particular car has a couple of advisories (brake discs and front tyres) I would expect these to be replaced (if not done already) and I've read some of the issues that people have had with wheel arch corrosion (hopefully this is uncommon).
Is there anything I should be particularly looking at when I go to the showroom? Also I cant seem to get a definitive answer on the internet for annual RFL costs.

Was at Haynes yesterday for their breakfast club, great set up.
Not too much to look for on the A110, corrosion on the wings as you mention which is an easy warranty job. Depending on the age of the car make sure the fuel pump has been done under recall. Early car could suffer from cracked windscreens but think this is less of an issue post 2020. My RFL was £630 but pay it monthly, sadly as they exceed £40k new they all attract the additional tax until they’re 5yrs old.

Thanks, £630 is ok as it will only be for the 1st year of ownership (looking at a 2021). Gearbox oil is a service item at 4 years, is that mileage dependent? Was at Haynes yesterday for their breakfast club, great set up.

I was going to marshal the breakfast club yesterday at HMM, but family stuff sometimes get in the way.
Noticed on the photo (online) wheel bolts rusty!
