HDMI Cable Problem

My laptop is happy sending HD video to my Smart TV via a 5m 4K HDMI cable, what it's not good at is sending the audio, the picture will get jerky and freezy, does it need a 8K HDMI cable maybe ?

The 5m length of your cable is most likely the problem, they don’t really like longer lengths like that

For around 20 quid I'd say just give it a go. I think if you're using eARC it's a requirement anyway? Have a read here..............
